MIKE YOUNG

Coming back home, Mike Young was hired on April 8, 2019 to be the men's basketball coach at Virginia Tech, a place he grew up coming to games in Cassell Coliseum.

Now in charge, Young, along with his staff, have laid the foundation of the program following their first year in Blacksburg.

Young & Co. earned 16 regular-season wins & seven ACC victories, while finishing in the top 15 nationally in fewest turnovers per game (No. 4, 9.9), assist-turnover ratio (No. 5, 1.48) and 3-pointers made a game (No. 13, 9.8).
