TICKET ORDERING GUIDE
2023-24 APPLICATION PRIORITY DEADLINE: March 1, 2023
Late Orders: Orders received after March 15 will be reallocated into the same seats held in 2022. If the seats from 2022 have been taken, they will be assigned seats automatically in the best available location.
PROCESSING OF ORDERS
All orders received by March 1 will be entered in the seat improvement process. Seat selection times are assigned based on Hokie Scholarship Fund point priority rank as of March 1, 2023. Orders received after March 1 will be allocated into the best available seats once the seat selection process has been completed.

Email Address: Use one primary email address per ticket office account both for informational emails sent to you from the Athletics Department and for your online account in hokietickets.com. Our software uses your email address as a unique identifier and will merge or lock out online accounts with the same email address.
ADDRESS CHANGES
For your account security, all address changes must be made in your online ticket account or submitted in writing to the Virginia Tech Athletics. It is your responsibility to inform the Athletics of any address or contact information changes.
TICKET DELIVERY
All tickets for men’s basketball games purchased in advance are mobile. They will be delivered to your online account approximately 10 days prior to the event. Simply login to your account and download the ticket to your mobile wallet. For more information on mobile ticketing, see our mobile FAQ.
Game Times/Dates: Game times and dates are subject to change. Refunds will not be made because a game time and/or date is changed.
Payment: Intent to order must be completed by the priority deadline. Payment can be made in full at any time via online application or requested paper form via mail. We accept cash (in-person), check, money order, Discover, MasterCard or Visa. Billing plans are also available for credit card payments. All funds are deposited upon receipt of your order. Make checks payable to Treasurer of Virginia Tech. Take advantage of the opportunity to spread your season ticket purchase out over monthly installments. See details in application.
Refunds: No refunds will be given unless an order is not filled. Refunds are for the price of the ticket only. Processing fees are not refunded.
Faculty/Staff: Virginia Tech Faculty and Staff members are eligible for special season ticket pricing in “Tier 1” of Cassell Coliseum. If new faculty/staff buyer or employee: please visit the Athletics Ticket Office with proof of employment status to receive F/S pricing. If a returning faculty/staff purchaser, the pricing will already be on your ticket account.
BALLENA SELECT-A-SEAT
In spring, all qualifying patrons who have ordered season tickets will be assigned a selection date and time that will allow them entrance into the Ballena Select-A-Seat system based on their Hokie Scholarship Fund (HSF) point priority ranking as of March 1, 2023.
In non-reseating years, such as this year (2023-24), if you are happy with your seats from last year, you do not have to re-select them. They will be renewed automatically. Keep in mind that if you downgraded your Hokie Scholarship Fund Club membership and no longer meet the per seat requirement for the seats you select, you will need to select new seats. During reseating years, all individuals must select seats.
Patrons who order season tickets will log into the system at their selection date and time. Once logged in, the number of seats that were ordered and any donation amount to the HSF will be loaded into the account. Available seats will display in green and unavailable seats will display red. Next, simply click on the green seat dots to select seat locations. The seats will then be added to the patron’s cart. After seating has been selected, each patron will be asked to confirm and finalize their selections. If the patron has selected seats in an area that would require an additional donation to the HSF, they will be directed to complete their gift, which will in turn complete and confirm the selection process. NEW SEAT PATRONS
Patrons ordering tickets for the first time will log into the system during their selection date and time. Once logged in, it will be up to the patron to choose a seat location from any of the open seats.
TO ADD SEATS DURING SELECTION
Patrons wishing to increase the number of season tickets they purchase, based on availability and HSF priority ticket limits, may do so at the time of their selection. Keep in mind that only tickets within the priority ticket limits can be selected during selections.
SELECTION TIP ON STRANDING SINGLE SEATS
In order to minimize unsellable single tickets, you will be prompted to reselect new seats or purchase the additional seat, if availability and priority limits allow, when making a selection that leaves a single seat by itself.
